ONE Albania supports the Hungarian Culture Week: Unique events from a friendly culture

For the second year in a row, One Albania supports the Hungarian Culture Week, which will be held from November 2-6. Through a series of unique events, in several cities of Albania, the Hungarian Culture Week offers the opportunity to know and enjoy a curated program of performances, traditional and experimental music and see artistic exhibitions based on Hungarian culture.

Present at the opening event Mrs. Irida Bonati, Deputy Executive Director of One Albania, part of the Hungarian group 4iG, praised the event as an opportunity to deepen the ties that unite people, among other things she added:

  "The activities of the Hungarian Cultural Week in Albania were very successful last year as well, which further reinforces the fact that the connection between Albania and Hungary is not just a diplomatic credential, but a much deeper connection, which has created a path common towards a developed future and, without a doubt, towards progress in the technological field and digital innovation, where One Albania contributes".

The cultural program starting on November 2, with the opening of the translation exhibition and the chess and jazz event, will be accompanied by a series of cultural events for the general public.

During its second edition, "International Cultural Weeks" 2023, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture, brings to Albania the sounds, images, aromas and tastes of 18 countries of the world, including Hungary.

Mr. Ádám Lovassy, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Hungary in Albania appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the excellent cooperation between our two countries. After thanking the supporters of the cultural week, he underlined that: "In addition to Tirana, the events of the Hungarian culture week will also take place in several cities of Albania such as: Durrës, Korça, Pogradeci and Vlora, turning the week into a national event."

In addition to Tirana, Vlora, Pogradec and Durrës will be the cities where a selected artistic program will be presented, while the night of November 5 will be dedicated to art and traditional Hungarian cuisine.

The Hungarian Culture Week has already become a traditional festival, which will continue to be an annual part of the recognition and exchange of traditions, art, culture and cuisine between different nations in Albania.
