One Albania has completed the "Business Academy" program, a talent management program within the company. For the 7th year in a row, the company develops this program aimed at developing the profile of employees towards leadership in One Albania. For 2023, 38 employees participated, they attended various courses for 12 weeks and after evaluations by company managers and university lecturers, they successfully graduated.
The Executive Director of One Albania, Emil Georgakiev, announced the “Best Student” of the 12-week program, as well as the "Best Team", awarding them with prizes.
As part of the curriculum of this program, the participants are divided into groups and each group works towards a business idea, mentored by One Albania managers. In the end, four groups presented their business plans and the winning idea was the "One Step" app. This application aims to increase awareness of sports and reading, as two important pillars that lead to sustainable development of the country and are also recognized by the United Nations as Millennium Challenges.
All One Albania employees who participated in this program were provided with diplomas certified by the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The academy program consists of 10 modules in the fields of finance, marketing, communication, organizational behavior, international relations and leadership, administered by renowned lecturers. The mission of One Albania is not only to hire the best talents in the country, but also to develop them in their career journey. The combination of professional knowledge from everyone's daily work, together with coherent orientations in different subjects, give added value to this program.
The Business Academy program will continue to encourage the desire for knowledge and development among One Albania employees in the years to come.
